On Tuesday we laid my beautiful wife to rest.  In a grove of sassafras trees behind our farmhouse, with friends and family gathered around, we said goodbye to the greatest person I have ever known.

My wife's greatest dream came true today.  She is in Heaven. The cancer is gone, the pain has ceased and all her tears are dry.  Joey is in the arms of her beloved brother Justin and using her pretty voice to sing for her savior.

...Joey gathered her family together around her and she said goodbye to each of them… and then she pulled Indiana up and gave her... one last kiss.

This has been a week to remember. There have been big parties for little people and small losses with great lessons… but mostly, this has been a week filled with thankfulness.

This is gonna be a big week for our family. Valentines Day is Sunday, the Grammy awards Monday, our little Indiana turns 2 on Wednesday, and on top of all that, our new album came out today…

Some things are meant to be. They’re bigger than us. Bigger than coincidence. And the only way you can explain them is… God.
